Upon the arrival of the news that the Vatican, through the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, was promoting a Commissariat for the Private Association of Herald severable Faithful of the Gospel, the President General of the Institution, the Mr. Felipe Lecaros Concha, advised several canonists to study the issue in depth. Some of these studies have been published here (e.g. here, here and here).
Considering the outcome of the study, the Gospel Heraldpress Department issued a statement on October 19, 2019, making known the institution's position. Next, on October 22, he wrote a five-page letter to the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life in dr. Linda Ghisoni, communicating the difficulties encountered by the Association, and presenting the arguments by which she requested clarification from the Dicastery part.
