The Heralds of the Gospel were sought by the SBT and, for more than an hour, answered the questions raised by trainee reporter John Silva. The interview was held in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, in Caieiras, São Paulo, and was attended by Revmo. Pe. Alex Barbosa de Brito, member of the Virgo Flos Carmeli Clerical Society of Apostolic Life, and several members of the Women's Sector of the Heralds of the Gospel, as well as families and co-workers of the Association.
To the question, asked by the reporter of SBT, about the changes suffered in the routine of the parish after the complaints propagated by the media against the Heralds, the Fr. Alex Barbosa de Brito, EP, replied that there was no change; on the contrary, there has been a growth in the number of demonstrations of support, including between civil and religious authorities.

The Ep. Alex explained why this behavior of public opinion:
"The Brazilian is intelligent, the Brazilian has faith. Said Dr. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira, inspiring and forming of Mons. John, may other peoples believe in God, but the Brazilian knows that God exists. It's a very strong relationship of faith."
As explained by the priest, this is what makes those who know the institution well realize that the complaints are nothing but a smear campaign.
